Models
Get model ids and abilities from the API.
List models
The models your plan may use come from GET /v1/models. The id is what you put in the model field of a request.

Each model has these fields:

|---|---|
id | The model id for the model field. |
owned_by | Always hoveydai. |
context_window | The longest input, in tokens. |
max_output_tokens | The longest output, in tokens. |
supports_vision | Whether the model accepts images. |
You can also read one model with GET /v1/models/{model_id}. If we do not know the id, the answer is 404 with model_not_found.
Prices are not in the API
The price of a model is not part of this response. See prices on models and prices.
Models change
When a provider adds or removes a model, the list changes too. Keep the model id in your app's settings, not in the middle of the code, so it can change without a new release.
